Welcome to Mauna Kai 2B, your home away from home, situated between mountains and ocean. The whole group will enjoy easy access to all Kauai North Shore attractions from this centrally located condo. 3 bedrooms 3 bathroom condo surrounded by lush tropical gardens and a residential feel, this is the perfect location for you and your loved ones to slow down, explore, reconnect, and rejuvenate.

The Space

Open and airy with the kitchen, dining, and family room flowing perfectly together. Modern kitchen is fully equipped, in case you want to whip up your own delicious meals. Large dining table can seat 9 with plenty of dishes and place settings for all.


Primary Bedroom on Main Level: King size bed with large ensuite bath and access to the lanai. The bath has a tub with shower and plenty of closet space.


Bedroom 2 on Main Level: Queen bed with access to front lanai. Bath is down the short hall and has a tub with shower.


Bedroom 3 Upstairs: Bedroom is loft style with an area open to below. Perfect semi-private area for older kids to have some of their own space. Bunk bed with Queen on bottom and twin XL above. There is also a pull out sofa with a full size mattress for extra sleeping options. Ensuite full bath with step in shower.


Lanai: Huge wrap around covered lanai with grill, dining table, and multiple seating areas.


Remote Work: Dedicated work area in the loft with a large monitor. We can add an additional desk and chair in the primary bedroom if you need a work area with closed doors.


Laundry: Washer and dryer in unit so feel free to pack light.


Entertainment: Board games, books, TV (Disney+, HBO Max), sit on the lanai and enjoy a moment during the day and gaze at the stars at night.


Community Amenities: Largest condo pool in Princeville (solar heated, 25m across at longest points), covered pavilion BBQ area, and free parking for up to two vehicles (must display parking permit at all times).


We have tried to make the condo child friendly, but note there are stairs in the unit without gates and many sliding doors that lead out to the lanai space.


Guest access

Access to entire unit and community amenities except for two locked off closets.


The fireplace is not functional, please do not use.


Other things to note

We provide 4 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, and a cooler for your convenience.


There may be other beach toys that previous guests have left behind in our beach closet. Use of these items are up to your discretion and without warranty.


Insects and wildlife: Insects and wildlife are a part of island life. The best way to keep pests out is to keep the screen doors closed and to store food sealed or in the refrigerator. Roosters (and chickens) can be found throughout the island and can crow at any time of day.

We came in three waves, totaling 8 people, and all were laudatory in their assessment of the property. The sleeping arrangements worked well - even the pull-out bed was deemed comfortable. We loved how convenient it was to the north shore activities. Tri was super helpful and kind in helping us celebrate our son’s graduation and impending departure from the nest. Wonderful memories!

Enjoying our coffee and breakfast on the lanai in such beautiful surroundings was the best start to our day. The convenience of taking a walk to the beautiful Wylie’s beach was incredible. All the beach gear provided was fantastic, the kitchen had great gadgets which made making meals a breeze and the home had all the essentials. The location was fantastic too, you are so close to all the beauty of the north shore, but you can also drive to Poipu Beach and other points of interest easily.

Our host Tri was amazing at communicating with us to make sure we checked in okay, made use of the homes amenities, and helped with checkout, he was also very quick to respond to our questions! We would definitely recommend Tri’s home to anyone wanting to stay in Kauai and we will definitely be back!

STAYED FOR A MONTH...This is the first AirBnb I have stayed in that is truly under represented by the listed photos. The space is STUNNING and much more spacious than it looks in any of the pictures. Its fully stocked from the kitchen to the bedrooms and beach gear (chairs, boogie boards, surf board). They had baby toys, baby seats, packnplays etc. They accomodated all requests we had and I can't thank them enough for having us. Would reccommend this place to anyone and will be staying here again in the future when we visit Princeville. Thank you again!

Can I start with the table. Big. Wooden. Solid. Beautiful. We did everything at this table. A constant gathering of people. Board Games. Dinner'. Snacks. Fellowship. Easily fits everyone.


The raised ceilings with ceiling fans made the place feel huge and provided plenty fresh air circulation through all the windows.


The windows are facing west and on the second floor which allows for views and privacy.


The deck is not small. Not small. Morning sun on one end. Evening sun and pool view on the other end. Comfortable chairs. Perfect for morning coffee and visiting with cardinals and mynas.


The pool is beyond nice. You won't find a deeper pool. Not like a resort pool. Just a huge deep pool. Perfect for testing out the snorkeling gear. The pool area has plenty of chairs and umbrellas and is attached to a covered area with bbq and pingpong. (there is also a BBQ on the deck)


The management of the Mauna Kai are super friendly. They added to our stay.

This condo was really wonderful. Spotless. Everything looked new and high quality- from the towels to the kitchen appliances. Very spacious for our group of 7. We especially appreciated the closest full of snorkeling equipment, beach toys, beach chairs, boogie board, etc. Everything we needed for the beach. And Tri responded to our questions very quickly before and during our stay. I would highly recommend this place.

Our stay in Tri’s place was absolutely wonderful! The condo was perfect with plenty of room, beautiful accommodations and scenery. A lanai that wrapped around the outside for peaceful mornings…. A pool (which we honestly never used because the ocean was sooooo incredible).

And everything you’d need to take to the beach including snorkeling gear, umbrellas, mats, chairs, and boards.

The only downfall was that we had to leave to come home! I can’t wait to go back. We’ll stay there again in a heartbeat 💗

BOOK IT! Exactly what we were looking for - Tri was extremely kind and helpful. We had two houses in the same complex and Tri was our most communicative host. The place was big enough for a group of 9 ( 3 of us stayed nearby). The family (booster seat, pack'n'play, plastic ware for kids) were perfect - the beach amenities were all we needed (chairs, boogie boards, snorkel (plentiful), umbrellas etc.), Well stocked kitchen. The swing outside the master bedroom was perfect for relaxing (and rocking baby to sleep!).


Tri answered my gazillion questions ahead of time and provided many recommendations (even helped book a private transfer for my son from the airport). They provided accurate descriptions of the area ahead of time so we were prepared.


The beach is definitely walkable for a fit person, not so much for an older adult and was difficult coming back up with a stroller (but doable if motivated!). Tri provided accurate and honest answer to my questions. Would definitely stay again

My friends and I absolutely loved our stay! The location was perfect, great parking options, the host was great to work with, and the space was awesome! We traveled with 5 people and it fit us all perfectly. I definitely recommend coming with a group and staying at this property. No complaints!
